Cars
of the World is staged to showcase a wide and delectable range of
collector cars.
Proceeds
of the event will assist youth programs at Blind Citizens Australia
– more details in the fundraising page.
No
matter what car you have, be it brand new or from the late 1800s all
are more than welcome to participate.
The
Yarra Valley’s Rochford Wines is our new venue moving forward.
The
date is Sunday 31 October.
A
mass convoy of cars will leave the Wheelers Hill Hotel as part of
the Rochford Wines Cavalcade to the Vines. The Cavalcade is an optional
part, as some may wish to drive directly to the venue, but we do encourage
all to participate in this activity.
The
feature marques for 2010 showcase a diverse range of motoring history,
both here in Australia and indeed across the world. We are honouring
the centenaries of Alfa Romeo and Bugatti, the 21st birthday of the
Mazda MX-5, and locally the 50th of the arrival into Australia of
the Ford Falcon and the 50th anniversary of the Australian Touring
Car Championship.
Please
take time to navigate through the site, we have tried to give as much
detail on Cars of the World as possible.
Please
note we are again producing a full colour booklet style programme
for the event, which we encourage all to pre-enter early to ensure
your car and a brief history are included in this production.
Register
your interest in the event by emailing Charles at

Housekeeping:
We wish to note that Rochford Wines, the venue for this year's show
has a limited liquor licence, which prevents alcohol being brought
in from outside the venue.
We
ask that all entrants and patrons not to bring alcohol
into the event as this will be in breach of Rochford Wine's trading
agreement.
We
note that alcohol is available for purchase and consumption at the
event and ask all entrants and patrons to drink responsibly.
